Dr. Nancy Haupt graduated from the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 1981 and worked in Sudbury before returning to the Durham region in 2006.
Dr. Haupt has provided dental care for the exceptional needs patients, and for elderly patients in nursing and retirement homes. She also worked four to five weeks each year at dental clinics on northern Native reserves in the 1990’s.
On a personal note, Dr. Haupt has a special interest in health and nutrition. Some of her time is spent caring for her cats and rabbits.
A member of the Canadian Dental Association, Dr. Haupt is a strong advocate of preventive dentistry. She likes to educate her patients about dental health and puts people at ease by explaining dental procedures in easy-to-understand terms. Dr. Haupt prides herself on her knowledge and passion for dental surgery, as well as working with children.
